A place for me to speak-out. A chance for my soul to seek...
' Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue, the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half light, I would spread the cloths under your feet;
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams '

The dirty side of money
I kind of vaguely remember a documentary in NGC about finding the cause of an epidemic that affects the respiratory tract and people are even strangled to death. The findings of which turned out to be spreading due to some kinda Ecoli (Escherichia coli O5O7 I guess) present in fruits, rotten tomatoes carried over to the other places and could survive even when froze to sub temperatures…
Now the funny side of it is.. Earning less too turns out to be a blessing in disguise… at times ofcourse… J
Cheers

· All currency notes, 96% coins carry pathogenic species

Currency infected with bacteria: study

A new study published in the latest edition of Current Science has found that every single currency note and 96 per cent of coins carry various strains of bacteria, of which at least three species are highly infectious.
If that weren't enough, this widely handled article may be assisting in the spread of drug-resistant strains of bacteria, found the paper, one of few such studies conducted on Indian currency.
The research paper, titled 'Screening of currency in circulation for bacterial contamination' was authored by Akshay Sharma and B. Dhanashree of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University.
As part of their study, the researchers each collected 25 samples of currency notes and coins, using a random sampling technique.
Responsible for diseases
Microbial screening showed that a surprising 96 per cent of coins and 100 per cent of the currency notes were found to be contaminated with different bacterial species. Of these, three pathogenic species — Staphylococcus aureus,Klebsiella spp and Escherichia coli – were found to be responsible for various gastric and respiratory diseases.
Antibiotic-resistant
Tests showed that the bacteria were considerably resistant to commonly used antibiotics. For instance, S. aureus showed 100 per cent resistance to penicillin, while 50 per cent of Klebsiella spp were resistant to piperacillin. E. coli was resistant to ampicillin and piperacillin.
Bacteria such as Klebsiella spp. were known to cause hospital-acquired infections, and are most commonly involved in respiratory tract infections.
The paper advised medical professionals and food handlers, in particular, to sanitise their hands after handling currency to prevent cross-contamination.

Back Blogging again.....Coming of age....
Maybe the ardent blogger in me who had all the time in the world to mull around each and everything is long gone... the days I felt that urge in me to share everything and to let the world out there know what I think about whatever that riffles through my mind.
I don't really know if anybody cares a shit as to if a moron writes anything at all or rather not... The truth is I don't really want to..But I really thank those souls from the bottom of my heart, who cared to ask me why I had stopped writing or rumbling something. To those Guyz, u had been the only motivation for me to write anything. And I only hope you don't get much bored and repent later...
Musings apart... There has been lot of happenings these days and lots more happening of-late except THE happenings I always long for... I kind-of got myself delved deep into the cobwebs of my working life as a measure to keep myself apart from the reality of being the loser. Gosh I hate so much as if I'm enacting a play acting like a whiz-kid while the reality to the contrary is quite diametrical.
Well, thatz me as you guyz know. as queasy as ever. Without much of a hiss i just wanna say especially to those who still motivate me and believe that i still have some stories untold (or rather feel so funny or for whatever reason) HERE I AM.. Back again BLOGGING !!!

IF - Rudyard Kipling
A favourite poem of mine which tells you how to be a successful man and more a successful human being. No wonder he got his Nobel so early... Here it is for it means something at every stage of ur life when you read...
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings—nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And—which is more—you'll be a Man my son!

We are the creator of our own DESTINY !!!
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were all meant to shine, as children do.
It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

The con in the Corporate world...
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far ;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

It's an empty vessel
A young farmer was covered with sweat as he paddled his boat up the river. He was going upstream to deliver his produce to the village and he was in a hurry. It was a hot day and he wanted to make his delivery and get home before dark. As he looked ahead, he spotted another vessel, heading rapidly downstream towards his boat. It was coming at a good pace too. This farmer rowed furiously to get out of the way, but it did not seem to help.
He yelled at the other vessel, “Change direction, you idiot! You are going to hit me. The river is wide. Change your course". His screaming was of no use. The other vessel hit his boat with a big loud thud. He was enraged as he stood up and cried out to the other vessel. “Stupid! How could you manage to hit my boat in the middle of this wide river? What is wrong with you? "
And as he looked at the other vessel he realized that there was no one in the other boat. He was screaming at an empty vessel that had broken free of its moorings and was going downstream with the current.
The lesson is very simple.
There is never anyone in the other boat.
When we are angry we are screaming at an empty vessel.
All of us know people who drive us crazy, whom we hate to the core with passion. We may have spent countless hours reliving the moments when this person was unfair, unappreciative or inconsiderate to us. Even remembering this person pumps up our blood pressure.
The best way of dealing with people like this is to not let them make us angry. Getting angry doesn’t help in improving the situation and life is too short to waste on feeling bad or staying with grudges.
Next time when there is a surge of anger in you, just remember this.
There is never anyone in the other boat. It’s an empty vessel always

Is Baar Nahin - Not Anymore
Below is a wonderful poem written by Prasoon Joshi on account of the 26\11 attacks. After an year these words still resound through every walls and every streets of the mumbaikars....
No... No... Lets just dont divide ourselves for the thakrey's barbarious desciples and takers of his rubbish philosophies wont bear a word as if the term mumbaikar is theirs alone...
Whatever... Here it goes... I'll also get u the transilated text for you guyz.. I guess i've found it in some blog if so shall post the link in the comments.. do watch out....
Is Baar Nahin - Not Anymore
Is baar jab woh choti si bachchi mere
paas apni kharonch le kar aayegi
Main use phoo phoo kar nahin behlaoonga
Panpaney doonga uski tees ko
Is baar nahin
Is baar jab main chehron par dard likha dekhoonga
Nahin gaoonga geet peeda bhula dene wale
Dard ko risney doonga' utarney doonga andar gehrey
Is baar nahin
Is baar main na marham lagaoonga
Na hi uthaoonga ruee ke phohey
Aur na hi kahoonga ki tum aankhein band karlo,
gardan udhar kar lo main dawa lagata hoon
Dikhney doonga sabko, hum sabko khuley nangey ghaav
Is baar nahin
Is baar jab uljhaney dekhoonga, chatpatahat dekhoonga
Nahin daudoonga uljhee dor lapetney
Uljhaney doonga jab tak ulajh sake
Is baar nahin
Is baar karm ka hawala de kar nahin uthaoonga auzaar
Nahin karoonga phir se ek nayee shuruaat
Nahin banaoonga misaal ek karmyogi ki
Nahin aaney doonga zindagi ko aasani se patri par
Utarney doonga usey keechad main,
tedhey medhey raston pe
Nahin sookhney doonga deewaron par laga khoon
Halka nahin padneydoonga uska rang
Is baar nahin banney doonga usey itna laachaar
ki paan ki peek aur khoon ka fark hi khatm ho jaye
Is baar nahin
Is baar ghawon ko dekhna hai
Gaur se thoda lambe wakt tak
Kuch faisley
Aur uskey baad hausley
kahin toh shuruat karni hee hogi
Is baar yahi tay kiya hai...
